Technical Cleanliness Testing Services

Conation performs Technical Cleanliness testing to ISO 16232, ISO 4406, ISO 4407, VDA 19.1 and customer-specific OEM requirements. Our laboratory carries out contamination extraction, particle analysis, gravimetric evaluation and technical reporting for production validation and quality investigations.

Commercial laboratory testing

Evaluate component cleanliness when you need independent testing, validation support or documented results.

Particle extraction

Extract contamination from the component under controlled laboratory conditions.

Particle analysis

Measure particle size and count, then compare the result with the applicable cleanliness requirement.

Gravimetry Analysis

Measure the total contamination collected on the filter membrane using precision gravimetric methods. Apply the result to ISO 16232, VDA 19.1 and OEM requirements where contamination mass is an acceptance criterion.

Reporting

Receive structured findings that support quality review, validation and customer documentation.

Metallurgical Testing Services

Prepared samples can reveal the material features behind a quality concern. We support microscopy, weld examination and localized hardness evaluation around the application.

Grain Size Evaluation

Evaluate visible grain structure in a properly prepared metallographic sample.

Inclusion Rating

Review inclusions observed in metallurgical samples through microscopy.

Microstructure Examination

Examine the visible material structure after suitable preparation and etching.

Case Depth Evaluation

Assess treated layers or hardened depth where they are relevant to the sample.

Weld Metallography

Prepare and examine weld cross-sections and the features relevant to the investigation.

Microhardness Evaluation

Evaluate localized hardness where it is required by the application.

Calibration Services

Calibration services are available for metallurgical microscopy systems and microhardness testers, with checks and records focused on measurement confidence and traceability.

Metallurgical Microscopy Systems

Calibrate the microscope measurement scale so dimensional results remain traceable.

Microhardness Testers

Check the applied load and optical measurement system used to calculate microhardness.

NABL Accreditation Status

Calibration services are available now. NABL accreditation for these services is under process and will further strengthen measurement traceability after approval.

Training Programs

Training is shaped around the equipment, analysis tasks and laboratory practices your team uses in day-to-day work.

Technical Cleanliness

Build practical understanding of cleanliness concepts, testing, analysis and reporting.

Metallography

Develop skills in sample preparation, microscopy, material evaluation and laboratory practice.

Image Analysis

Learn image-based measurement, analysis workflows and clear documentation.

Microhardness Testers

Work through microhardness testing workflows and result documentation.

Equipment Operation

Use relevant laboratory equipment confidently within practical workflows.

Laboratory Best Practices

Apply training shaped around your laboratory context and working requirements.

Laboratory Planning & Integration

From selecting equipment to connecting preparation, analysis and reporting, we help teams plan laboratories that work as one practical system.

Equipment Selection

Select equipment, metallography consumables and hardness accessories from the sample and test method.

Laboratory Layout Planning

Plan a practical laboratory arrangement around the available space and intended work.

Workflow Planning

Arrange preparation, testing, analysis and reporting in the order used by the laboratory.

Software Integration

Connect analysis and reporting software to the equipment and records already used in the laboratory.

Laboratory Expansion

Add new test capability without disrupting the laboratory functions already in use.
